First Bookclub edition, boldly signed: A near fine signed copy with the near fine original jacket. Signed by Stephen King on the title page in blue felt tip. The book is the same size and format of the first printing.
The book is in beautiful clean near fine condition with deep red boards with a touch of rubbing along the spine tips. The boards have sharp corners with one very tiny tip bump. The binding is tight and square. Strong unfaded yellow titles to the spine. Stephen King signed the book in blue felt tip on the title page. The end papers are clean with no owner names, no bookplates and no bookstamps. The interior of the book is in crisp, clean condition with bright, flat pages with no handling marks, no stains, no bent pages and no age toning to the pages. Faint foxing to the outer page block and slight to the end papers. Beautiful condition book internally appearing as crisp and unread. The book will comes with an COA from James Spence authenticating the signature. Please see images.
The original unrestored near fine dust jacket is in beautiful condition. The dust jacket has strong vibrant colors with just a slight touch of nicking to the top of the spine. Otherwise the jacket has no chips, no nicks, no tears, no edgewear, no stains, no fading, slight toning to the rear panel.
A very handsome clean, crisp example of this scarce signed title with an COA. Would make a wonderful special gift for a Stephen King collector.
