We know that delays can be frustrating but we are committed to delivering all of these volumes/products and avoiding such delays for future projects. Starting January 1st 2021 we ceased offering any public preorders of new/upcoming Dark Regions Press published projects which you can read about by clicking here. Moving forward when we launch a new DRP project for retail sale to the public it will already be in-stock and ready to ship. As a small press in business since 1985, we will work our hardest with good intentions to deliver every preorder project that we publish to our patient customers as soon as possible and look forward to offering new projects as in-stock at launch in the future. Stephen King Mystery Box Wave 2
Shipping on Wave 2 of the Stephen King Mystery Boxes starts within 45 days! Thank you so much to everyone for your patience, it took longer than expected for us to get the inventory needed to fulfill these boxes but we’re getting close to shipping! Based on current market prices, our customers will be getting excellent value in these boxes. Thanks again and we look forward to shipping these out soon.
Offspring 30th Anniversary Edition by Jack Ketchum
Pre-production is wrapping up and printing is slated to start within 30 days! Thank you to everyone for your patience - the 3rd volume in the Dead River series, The Woman by Jack Ketchum and Lucky McKee, will only be offered for sale once it’s already in-stock and ready to ship to customers - and we’re getting a head start on it now!

Final changes are being made to the files right now and printing should start within 15 days of posting this update!
Malorie: A Bird Box Novel Special Edition by Josh Malerman
Printing starts on Malorie within 30 days of writing this update! We have one main printer/binder who is handling almost all of our larger projects. This has resulted in some slowing of the production line since we have added so many of our projects to their queue. We are working with them to get these projects finished and out to our patient customers as soon as possible! Thank you all for your patience.

Black Labyrinth Anthology I : Possession
This project was created for a writing contest and as a result is taking more time in pre-production than other projects. We are still in the process of getting stories from invited authors for this project to ensure enough stories to make a full book. Because this volume is still in pre-production we will refrain from giving a firm ETA other than to say that we’re working full steam ahead on this project and think everyone will be excited to see some of the authors who are now involved! Watch for an announcement in the coming months with the authors who joined the roster for this anthology and we’ll be working to get pre-production wrapped and printing started on this project asap!
Survive the Night: Three at Dusk, One at Dawn
This project is in roughly the same position as Black Labyrinth Anthology I : Possession - this project is currently in pre-production as we gather more stories to make it a full book. Like the Black Labyrinth anthology, this book was created for a writing contest and this has increased the pre-production time. Thank you to everyone for your patience as we work to make it the best book it can be, we’ll update with more as things progress!
Prisoner of Violence by Joe R. Lansdale and Keith Lansdale
At this time we are working away on the design of this first-ever graphic novel from Dark Regions Press to make sure the presentation is up to par with professional standards for graphic novels. As our first-ever graphic novel it is taking us time to get this prepared in pre-production for printing and sincerely appreciate the patience of our customers. Our objective is to get printing started on this graphic novel by end of summer. The story by Joe Lansdale and Keith Lansdale is fantastic, the artwork by Mark Torres is stunning… we can’t wait to get this into the hands of our patient customers!
Pirates of the Old World
This project is in the final stages of pre-production and we’re working to get printing started as soon as possible. We offered this one early in pre-production and apologize to our customers for offering it so early in pre-production which has resulted in the longer wait time. Projects like Pirates of the Old World are what inspired our new no retail preorder policy for new Dark Regions Press projects which you can read about here. We are committed to delivering Pirates of the Old World in good form to our patient campaign backers and customers. Thank you to everyone who is sticking with us through this process, we hope that you’ll agree it was worth the wait. Watch for more updates on Pirates as things progress!
