Writing Contest Winners to be Selected Soon, Prize Pool Increased to $1,650
Thanks to the support of our customers during the Horror Summer Sale where we added 10% of total sales to our Deserted Island Writing Contest prize pool, the total prize pool has increased from $1,000 to $1,650! Because of the increased prize pool, we will be selecting two additional winners and increasing prizes for all! Check out the new prizes below:
WRITING CONTEST PRIZE POOL INCREASES THANKS TO 2018 HORROR SUMMER SALE
1st place: $500 (+$200) = $700
2nd place: $200 (+$100) = $300
3rd place: $100 (+$50) = $150
4th place: $100 (+$50) = $150
5th place: $100 (+$50) = $150
6th place: $100 - NEW
7th place: $100 - NEW
The Dark Regions Press team is working hard to select all 7 winners by the end of July, but as noted in the original contest guidelines we may need all of Summer to decide and thank everyone for their patience as we received over 1,000 submissions! We have been impressed with the level of creativity and will be posting more updates leading up to the winners being announced this Summer.
